Amazing natural wine bar/bistro - awesome food & wine plus super lovely host and & staff! We went twice during our stay in tokyo - highly recommended!!

Excellent food !!!!! The chef onkai-san has a great spirit and cooks superior. The meat is out of this world!! And we had asparagus super simple and so tasty!! Burrata and tomato salad was so fresh! Eventhough we had the counter seat which is tight we had a great time, watchibg the chef doing his magic was great pleasure! The staff was super friendly aswell, and their natural wine selection is very interesting and definitely worth drinking! Thanks for a great night

Great place! Small with not a lot of seats but the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The meat is amazing and they serve surprisingly good bread. The other dishes are good, and they have a good choice of wines.

Very good beef, cooked to perfection without having to specify. Nice staff. The falafel and pâté was also quite delicious. They lost a star for chilling all of their red wine. Will return.

The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The appetizer was impressive as well. With wine for each of us, the spending per person was about 8000 Yen, an acceptable level

Shonzui is exceptionally good in terms of cost performance: one of my favorites in Roppongi I actually don't want to tell anybody about (because that would make it more difficult to make a booking). The highlight is their beef rump steak that has an incredibly rich flavor in it. I'm certain you'll be surprised how flavorful beef rump can be. The secret is their way of maturing beef and it gives beef this stunning taste. If you are a big beef steak eater, you've got to go there asap. I'm also a huge fan of their french fries; the potatoes have very strong flavor and they are just extraordinary. Other dishes are also high quality and they serve good wines too. This is definitely one of those hard-to-find quality places in central Tokyo.
